Exact-match .com names

A name that already says what you do.

Rye Advisors holds a working set of exact-match .com domains and places each one with the company whose trade, service or market it describes. One name, one buyer, one price — put in writing and left with you for as long as you need it.

Rye Advisors · West Peachtree Street, Midtown Atlanta · Eastern Time

The short version

We own the name before we write to you.

That single fact changes the whole conversation. There is no owner to chase, no approach to make on your behalf, and no chance that the answer six weeks from now is that the holder would rather keep it.

Held, not hunted

Every name we write about is already registered to us. When you ask what it costs, the answer comes back the same week, from the person who can actually agree it.

One price, in writing

Each name is priced on its own merits and quoted as a single figure, not a range and not an opening bid. You pay the price of the name. No commission, no listing fee, no retainer.

Your timetable

A domain is an asset, not an offer. If the right moment is the next budget cycle rather than this month, say so and we will leave the quote standing and stop writing until you come back.

From question to handover

Four steps, and you are only in three of them.

Nothing here is automated and nothing is hurried. The whole sequence takes as long as your side needs; the parts we control take days rather than weeks.

  1. You ask about the name

By email or through the form on this site. Tell us the domain and who you are; everything else is optional. We confirm we hold it and, if we do not, we say so plainly.

  2. We send the price and the terms

One figure, what is included, and how the transfer would run for your registrar. Read it, forward it internally, sit on it. Tell us to stop writing and we stop.

  3. Funds go to a licensed escrow agent

Never to us directly, and never by wire to an address in an email. The escrow agent holds the money while the name moves and releases it only once you confirm the domain is in your account.

  4. The name is yours

Transferred to the registrar you name, with the authorisation code and a written confirmation of the change of registrant. We keep nothing: no lease, no revenue share, no clause that brings us back.

What is held

Descriptive names for businesses that have to be found.

The set is small and deliberately dull: the words your customers already type. Trade and service names, city and regional names, category names in fields where the .com still carries the search. Nothing invented, nothing that needs explaining in a radio ad.

Who you are writing to

One person reads the enquiries.

Thea Lozano, Managing Partner of Rye Advisors

Thea Lozano runs Rye Advisors from Midtown Atlanta. She has spent around twelve years in digital brand strategy and domain portfolios, most of it with family-held operators, franchise groups and professional firms across the Southeast — the kind of business that has traded under one name for a generation and whose .com went somewhere else in 1998.

She answers her own mail. If you write, the reply is hers, it arrives within a business day, and it will not contain a countdown.
